The Perifit has been designed for optimal comfort. We have found that the size is comfortable for most women. When inserted and used properly, there should be no sliding out.
If you are experiencing this issue and your Perifit is sliding out, there may be a few reasons.
-
First things first: do you use lubricant? We know that a lot of our users do as a precaution but the medical-grade silicon used on Perifit's probe allows you to insert it without the use of a lubricant (for women who do not have a specific lubrication issue). Gently try to insert it without, it could change it all.
-
You could be pushing down with your abs even slightly, which is not something desired. We have noticed that when our users perform correct pelvic floor's contractions without applying intra-abdominal pressure, the device tends to be "sucked in" with every contraction. Visit Kegel 101 to get tips on how to perform Kegels without applying intra-abdominal pressure.
-
If you are using your Perifit while standing up, your pelvic floor will be working against gravity to keep the Perifit inside. If your pelvic floor is not strong enough, the Perifit will slide out. So, it may be necessary to keep training while lying down until your pelvic floor is strong enough to handle the standing position.

If you are lying and the device slides out before you even start doing the exercises, we recommend using less lube and/or wearing a sports panty over it. If you go with the panty, be careful to position the wire towards your belly button to maintain a good connection.
